Module Management:

Below is a map of the available module positions for Element.

Element Module Map:
Module Map

Access your module manager by going to
Module Manager :
Modules > Site Modules

No special configuration is required for most modules.
To make use of the speacial "teaser" blocks in the User4, User5 and User6 positions, you will need to have a basic understanding of how to apple module class suffixes. The teaser modules are preconfigured to handle any of the below suffixes:

Each S suffix represents a preconfigured background color.
For further customization, the CSS for this class can be found in the templates/js_element_xxx/css/template_css.css file beginning at line 225.

To take advantage of the SEO styled image replacement, you will need to create a new module (Modules>Site Modules>New) and enter:

S1:
<a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/" class="linkS1" title="SEO Friendly Title">Link text to be replaced</a>
S2: <a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/" class="linkS2" title="SEO Friendly Title">Link text to be replaced</a>

S3:
<a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/" class="linkS3" title="SEO Friendly Title">Link text to be replaced</a>

The above links will render the images from templates/js_element_xxx/images/linkS1.png at 274px x 135px.
If you want to use the big header, there is also an S4 suffix available at 842px x 162px.

Again, the CSS for these styles can be customized on Line 225 with a quick width/height edit.

Menu Configuration:

The top menu requires the installation of the Extended Menu module.

Install the module: (Site>Installers>Modules>::install the above file::

Next, go to: Modules>Site Modules and find the "Extended Menu" module you just installed.

* Set Show Title to No
* Set the Position to Top
* Set Menu Name to mainmenu (or whichever you like)
* Set Published to Yes
* Set Menu Style to Flat List
* Set Expand Menu to Yes
* Click Save at the very top and your'e just about done!

Now, just to be sure there is nothing else published in the top position, look over to the right in the module manager at the drop down that says select position. Click this and set it to top. You will see a filtered list of all your top module positioned items. Click the red X to unpublish everything but the Extended Menu module or move them to another position in their respective parameters.

So now you have a top menu configured. Now to get the sublevel.

Go to Menu>mainmenu (or whichever menu name you assigned to the module previously). To make a menu item become a submenu (or dropdown) menu item you need to assign it to a parent item. You can either create new menu item from the New button above or click inside an existing menu item to assign it to a parent menu item. Just click on the item you wish to assign it to in the menu item parameters and you have successfully installed this module.
